Servicing
At Hawes Garage we service all makes and models of car (including electric & hybrid) and light commercial vehicles. We have access to manufacturer's service schedules and online service recording meaning we can service your car from new without you having to worry about the warranty being affected.
Most services fall between an intermediate and a full service:
Intermediate Service
- Change engine oil and filter
- Change cabin filter
- Full health check of vehicle
- All levels checked and topped up where necessary
- Tyre pressures checked and topped up where necessary
- All exterior lights checked
- Rear brakes cleaned and adjusted (where possible to do so)
- Service warning light reset and book or online history updated
Full Service
- Change engine oil and filter
- Change cabin filter
- Change air filter
- Change fuel filter (where external of tank)
- Change spark plugs (petrol models only)
- Full health check of vehicle
- All levels checked and topped up where necessary
- Tyre pressures checked and topped up where necessary
- All exterior lights checked
- Rear brakes cleaned and adjusted (where possible to do so)
- Service warning light reset and book or online history updated

Repairs
We carry out most repairs including brakes, exhausts, suspension, steering, clutches, clutch hydraulics, timing belt replacements, coolant system repairs and much more.
We will inspect your car to diagnose your fault then contact you with a detailed estimate of cost involved in the repair.
